Fred Harper
With decades of experience in the mortgage industry, Fred brings extensive knowledge and expertise to Harptree Mortgages. His long career has given him an in-depth understanding of the industry, allowing him to provide clients with honest, straightforward advice and a personal service they can rely on.
Fred is Kay’s father and one of the directors of Harptree Mortgages. He works alongside Kay
and her husband Stuart, making Harptree a genuinely family-run business. His experience
and approachable nature have helped him build strong, long-standing relationships with
clients over many years.
Fred is also qualified to provide equity release advice, helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions about their financial future.
Outside of work, Fred enjoys making the most of life in and around Harpenden. He loves spending time with his two grandchildren, socialising with friends locally, getting out for walks and visiting the Isle of Wight whenever he can.
Fred also has a vast knowledge and passion for music and still regularly enjoys getting out to live music gigs. Whether discovering new artists or enjoying some of his favourites, music has always been a big part of his life.
For Fred, the relationships he has built with clients over the years are a particularly rewarding part of the job. He enjoys using his experience to help people find the right solutions for their individual circumstances, while being part of a business built around family values.
